Shares in late-night bars to nightclubs operator, Urbium, have sprung to life following its well received final results and are now 63% up on our buy tip in February last year. For the year ended 31 December, pretax profit rose 18% to £11.0m, while earnings increased 15% to 68.9p. Overall, sales improved an impressive 13% to £75m, thanks to five new openings and also a strong performance from its core London bars. Meanwhile, its decision to dispose of its two loss-making Birmingham sites helped margins improve by 0.8% to 17%.
