In an apparent return to dot com style exuberance, shares in Rightmove, owner of the UK’s leading property website, rightmove.co.uk, flew 17% to 392p on its first day of dealings on 10 March and this after having floated at the top of its price range. Market value at today’s price is around £500m, more than enough to propel it into the FTSE-250. Founded in February 2000, rightmove.co.uk was established as a website where buyers and sellers can view and gather information about a range of residential property across the UK.
