The combination of low interest rates and vast sums of Government infrastructure spend have created a positive backdrop for Speedy Hire to generate the kind of growth that most companies can only dream about. Speedy, which is the UK’s largest provider of tool hire products, such as electrical drills and access towers, has seen its operating profit soar from £2m in 1994 to an expected £38m in the current financial year ending 31 March.
