Connaught’s pre-close update for the six months ended 28 February noted that trading was good and in line with expectations and since December, £70m of new contracts had been secured on its main social housing maintenance division. Broker Numis has increased its target price to 343p and notes that in PEG terms, the prospective PE of 22.2 is undemanding for a company with c30% growth prospects for the foreseeable future. Interim results will be announced on 30 April. After being added to the Trader Portfolio at 98p in August ‘04, the shares have now gained 200%; continue to hold. ...
