In its pre-close update covering the six months to 29 February, social housing contractor Connaught announced that trading was running in line with expectations. The company has won £455m in new contract wins, well ahead of the same stage last year. Net debt is a seasonally high £85m but is forecast to reduce to £65m by the year-end, which would make for gearing of 53%. Broker  Numis has left forecasts unchanged with eps of 16.4p expected this year and 21.1p next. Keep holding. ...
