Domino's Pizza (FT sector: Travel & Leisure) is the master franchisor in the UK & Ireland for the pizza delivery brand and is one of those businesses that thrives in all types of economic weather. The firm has established a wonderful track record and since 1996 turnover has increased nearly six-fold from £60m to £351m, while pretax profit has risen over twelve-fold from £1.85m to £23.4m. While some might argue that it's already taken the lower hanging fruit, Domino's is adamant that it will double again in size over the course of the next ten years.Domino's is fortunate to operate in a niche that is showing significant growth with one industry forecaster predicting the pizza delivery market to grow by 91% between 2005 ...
