Shares in the betting firm have enjoyed a strong run since we recommended them last December at 162p and the group has now reported resilient full year results for the year to 30 December. Net revenue increased 3% to £963m while operating profit fell 3% to £278m.  Net debt was £1.02bn.The retail business, which comprises the estate of 2,300 bookies shops and contributes the bulk (82%) of gross win, achieved a decent performance, with both gross win and operating profit rising 7%. This came thanks to strong investment in its shops and by implementing various cost saving measures.
