Telecom Plus has said its full year results will come in ahead of expectations, helped by higher energy prices and increased usage because of the record breaking cold weather.Although the bad weather also restricted the group's self employed distributors from selling more services for the three-month period to 31 December, it still achieved a 7.6% year-on-year rise in customer numbers and growth of 1.6% on the prior quarter. Total group services rose by 12% year-on-year and just over 2% during the quarter to 1,134,825. Helped by a record number of distributors (over 3,200) attending its New Year motivational meeting, activity levels have picked up strongly over the past few weeks.
