Shares in component distributor, Filtrona have surged to a new high of 665p on the back of excellent final results, while management said it was on track to achieve “Vision 2015â€, which targets double-digit eps growth.For the year to 31 December revenues rose 26% to £663m with pretax profit increasing 26% to £95.8m. Eps also gained 26% to 31.7p. These were boosted by acquisitions but like-for-like revenue growth was still 11%. Strong cash flow meant that in spite of spending £35m on acquisitions and £22m on dividends net debt only rose £18m to £163.5m and net debt / EBITDA reduced from 1.4 to 1.3 times.
