In a flurry of good news Photo-Me announced a second special dividend (of 2p), while trading in the traditionally quiet third quarter was ahead of expectations, with profits now 20% ahead in the first nine months. This was driven by the operations division in France and Japan, as well as lower manufacturing costs and brokers have upgraded forecasts. The group also confirmed that the transfer of manufacturing for its laundry product to a third-party facility in Hungary was completed late in January with volumes expected to increase from 25 to 100 a month by the end of this year. Hardman estimates the new laundry product could add Eu 30m to turnover and Eu 20m to EBITDA in 2016, a healthy increase compared with group revenues ...
