Playtech - Founder reduces shareholding

The sale of 29.3m shares at 725p by founder Tedi Sagi through Brickington Investments (he retains 98.6m or 33.6%) halted Playtech’s share price charge to a new high of 836p but they remain usefully ahead of our tips in March and April last year at 540p and 613p, respectively.Importantly, final results showed good progress from Playtech, which supplies software for online gaming websites. Sales, adjusted EBITDA and eps rose 19%, 17% and 25% respectively to Eu367m, Eu59.4m and 50.7 cents. There was also a special dividend of 34.1p although that only dented its year-end cash pile of £424m by £100m.
