Business events group Tarsus performs better in “odd” rather than “even” years due to contributions from its two largest shows, which are biennial. Full year results in 2015 showed turnover, profit and eps rising 15%, 9% and 7% respectively to £86.9m, £26.3m and 21.4p over the 2013 results, a new record.Emerging markets (50% group revenue) increased revenues almost 18% to £43.6m with profit rising 7% to £15m. Its largest event, the biennial Dubai Airshow increased buyer attendance by 9% thanks to a strong aerospace sector, while other key territories performing well were South East Asia, Turkey, notably Asansor (lifts) and Komatek (construction) and China.
