Atalaya Mining - Another play on surging copper pri

Back in January when I wrote up copper producer Central Asia Metals (CAML), I noted that Goldman Sachs was predicting another commodities super-cycle with “Governments opening the spending taps and central banks printing money with abandon.” The bank charted a course for copper from the then US$7,650 / tonne (US$3.50 / lb) to US$10,000 (US$4.58 / lb), but little did I expect the jaw dropping spike to US$4.35 / lb over recent weeks. While CAML is a low cost producer, I am now branching out towards higher cost ones, because the operational leverage (i.e. potential for rapid profit growth) from rising prices is that much greater.
