Parkwood - Third PFI contract wim

Parkwood has announced the formation of Leisureplan Ltd,  a  joint venture with Barclays European Infrastructure Fund to bidfor local authority leisure-based PFI projects.  Parkwood and Barclays will each hold a 50% stake in Leisureplan, which will aim to invest £15m over the next five years in projects with total funding requirements of up to £150m. Parkwood's share will be no more than £3m,but the venture provides access to deals which would otherwise  beout of its  financial reach. Earlier, Parkwood announcedthat it had won its third PFI contract for the building of MulberrySchool in Tower Hamlets through D4E Mulberry, a special purposevehicle in which Parkwood bids jointly with partners.  P ...
