Shares in value-for-money clothing retailer, Peacock have really started to motor following our buy recommendation just two months ago at 129p.  As we predicted, Peacock's 2003 full year results unveiled a further improvement in trading and this trend continued at its AGM on 16 July.  Overall like-for-like sales growth was 10.8% in the first quarter to 30 June.  Both the Peacock andbonmarché chains made substantial progress, with the former's grossprofit rising 9.1%, driven by an increase in the number of storesrefurbished to 106, which accounts for 30% of this chain's sellingspace.  Meanwhile, bonmarché trumped that performance byincreasing underlying gross profit to  21.1% - and this withoutspen ...
