Inter Link Foods - Eps forecats to rise 30% to nearly 50p

As the chart on page 2 shows, shares in Inter Link Foods,  a manufacturer of supermarket own label and licensed cakes have enjoyed abarnstorming performance ever since they floated on AIM six years ago.  A company's share price rarely lies over such a long period and in this instance reflects Inter Link's ability to deliver rapid growth every year with unerring consistency.   In the five full years since flotation its turnover has expanded eightfold to nearly £70m, while pretax profit has risen twelve times from £0.4m to £5m.  Meanwhile, earnings have increased at a compound annual rate of 20% from 11.2p to 38.2p.   So it was hardly surprising that we found chief executive, Alwin Thompson, in buoyant form, when w ...
