High flying oil E&P firm Soco International has delighted its supporters with a string of eye-opening drilling successes, which have convinced some investors that it will unearth the same kind of 1 billion barrel super discovery as that which propelled Cairn Energy into the FTSE-100. Soco was originally a subsidiary of New York listed Snyder Oil, a gas producer in the Rocky Mountains, before floating on the LSE�s Full List in May 1997.
