In a pre-close trading update, Glisten announced that it expects to achieve record sales of £56m for the year ending 30 June, following the full integration of Halo, Nimbus and a six month contribution from Lyme Regis Foods. Operating margins have advanced strongly despite absorbing unexpectedly high utility and transportation cost increases. Highlights include a new partnership with Disney on all-natural, no-added-sugar fruit bars for kids and a strong business development program on both SunMaid-brand fruited snacks and "Fairtrade" cereal bars.
