Social housing maintenance contractor Mears has announced at its AGM that continuing buoyant trading conditions in the first four months of 2006 will lead to this year’s results being at the top end of market expectations. The size of its bid pipeline for contract tenders remains extremely healthy with the order book still in excess of £1 billion. Another sign of Mears’ excellent momentum is that it now expects to be confirmed as one of a select number of framework partners to deliver the Decent Homes program for the London borough of Ealing.
