Connaught has announced that it has made a strong start to the second half of its financial year, with over £800m in new orders, already greater than the whole of the 2007 intake. In its social housing contracting division it has found that the need to drive efficiencies in this difficult economic climate have led to more longer-term multi service contracts from its local authority and housing association clients.  Meanwhile, its health & safety compliance division is also performing strongly with the integration of last October's acquisition of National Britannia progressing well.Tipped at 98p in August ‘04, we've recommended taking profits on several occasions.
