With energy prices making a strong recovery, shares in Petrofac, a large international provider of facilities solutions to the oil & gas production and processing industry, have found their second wind. The key to the improving sentiment is that previously delayed new business has suddenly burst through with Petrofac winning contracts worth over US$6 bn since the start of 2009, increasing its backlog of future work to a whopping US$9 bn.
