Events organiser Tarsus has released an update for the six months to 30 June, which noted that trading remains in line with expectations while forward bookings remain solid.  Revenues for Tarsus' two largest exhibitions, the Dubai Air Show in November and Labelexpo Europe (September), remain ahead of the comparable shows and both are on track to be record events. Tarsus also noted that while it has adjusted its budgeted rates to US$1.7 / GBP and 1.2 EUR / GBP reflecting the recent strengthening of Sterling, it still expects a positive impact from currency swings compared with 2008.The group's net debt at 30 June was £35m and it is in advanced talks with its banks to adjust borrowing covenants to give it greater flexib ...
