Business events organiser Tarsus has announced that trading for the first half to 30 June has been in line with expectations, although the results remain heavily weighted towards H2, when the majority of events occur. Forward visibility remains excellent with approximately three quarters of expected full year 2010 revenues now contracted, a similar level to the same stage last year. On a divisional basis, in emerging markets its largest event, MEBA, is showing strong growth while from a strategic perspective its project 50/13 (aiming to accelerate emerging market growth) remains on course.
