The shares jumped 30p to a new high of 494p after the company announced that its 35% owned joint venture, CBI Kentz, had won a huge US$2.3bn construction contract from Chevron to work on the LNG Gorgon Project on Barrow Island, Western Australia. The scope of work includes structural, mechanical, piping, electrical, instrumentation and commissioning support for the construction of three LNG trains and will start immediately and continue through to 2015.
