An excellent month for shares in escrow solutions business, NCC, which hit a new high of 723p, spurred on by forecast busting results. For the year to 31 March these showed a 49% jump in revenue to £71m, while pretax profit rose 21% to £17.3m. Adjusted diluted eps rose 25% to 36.7p, while the dividend rose 21% to 13p. The core escrow solutions side involves NCC sitting between a software developer and its licencee holding critical material (usually source code) that it will release under certain trigger events, such as the software developer going bust.
