They say that in the world of gambling “the house always wins†and in the case of FTSE-250 firm William Hill, one of the best-known bookmakers in the UK gaming industry, this is certainly true. The company has benefited from two favourable trends in recent years, namely the introduction of the National Lottery, which has added a touch of glamour and respectability to gambling and taken it to a wider audience and also the spectacular growth in online gaming.
