Last month we looked at how patent translation firm RWS, 490p, had chiselled out a remarkable four-fold surge in its share price so perhaps the time is right to look at another firm operating in a similar space, Murgitroyd, the UK's only quoted firm of patent and trade mark attorneys. Like RWS, AIM-listed Murgitroyd is benefiting from the long-term growth in its markets with applications for trademarks and patents in 2011 rising 7% and 3% respectively, in each case smashing the previous record.
