Shares in Homeserve have soared to new highs close to £9 after the company, which sells home assistance insurance policies, produced results for the year ended 31st March marginally ahead of expectations. Revenues, pretax profit and eps increased 15%, 26% and 24%, respectively, to £900m, £142m and 33.6p.In the mature UK market, adjusted profit of £61.1m (FY’17: £63.2m) reflected investment in strategic initiatives to drive efficiency, expand partnerships and growing its HVAC business.
