Energean, a gas explorer and producer in the Eastern Mediterranean, mostly for the domestic market, has virtually everything an investor could want. Its flagship producing assets comprise the giant Karish and Tanin gas fields in Israel and associated infrastructure, which began producing late in 2022 and successfully ramped up last year. But it has certainly not been standing still; management have a terrific hit rate with the drill bit and are now expected to bring a second collection of fields - the Katlan reservoir - on stream late next year.
