With the shares continuing to hit new highs, Inter Link Foods has announced it is placing 1.65m new shares to institutions  at a price of 515p to raise £8.5m before expenses. The group has spotted a new £30m sales opportunity, which involves filling the void left by thesudden departure of market leader, Manor Bakeries (owner of the Mr. Kipling brand) from the private label cakes market, in order to concentrate on its brands.
