Emerald announced that the first exploration well on its Fortuna Block, Silfide 1, has discovered oil after drilling to a depth of 5,114 feet. Emerald is now evaluating various artificial lifting techniques to recover the oil, which we assume to mean that it doesn’t flow well enough naturally.
