On-line payment processor NETeller shrugged off fears of a slow-down by reporting a reassuringly strong set of trading figures in its traditionally strong third quarter. Turnover increased 106% to US$44.9m compared to a year ago, with pretax profit increasing 105% to US$26.3m,while earnings per share rose 176% to 19.6 cents. Profit growth was helped by an increase in the gross margin from 69.6% to 73.9% thanks to economies of scale and further reductions in bad debts.
