Spurred on by forecast beating final results, shares in confectionery and snack foods firm Glisten, have soared to a new high of 402p. For the year ended 30 June, pretax profit increased 60% to £34.8m on turnover up 35% to £55.6m. Fully diluted earnings increased 34% to 27p. Operating cash flow was particularly strong, doubling to £7.7m, which meant that in spite of spending £7.7m on acquisitions and deferred consideration from previous deals, net debt only increased £2.7m to £12.1m.
