In many ways MWB Business Exchange (FT: AIM, Consumer Services), the UK’s second largest provider of flexible serviced office space, has echoes of self-storage business Big Yellow, a TMI main recommendation in February, whose shares have stormed ahead from 314p to 555p. While Big Yellow provides a flexible, convenient service aimed at residential householders, MWB Business Exchange (MBE) provides office space on convenient terms to the commercial sector, allowing companies to avoid being tied into unbreakable long-term leases on upward only rent reviews.
