Shares in last month’s recommendation, Newfound, have inched to a new high of 78p following news that niche UK airline Astraeus will fly two scheduled flights per week from Gatwick to Deer Lake, which is just 20 minutes drive from Newfound’s Humber Valley luxury resort. This should help Newfound sell more units as well as increase tourist traffic there. Apparently, broker Collins Stewart got into a muddle over its forecasts and Newfound’s PR have asked us to provide the updated ones. The estimated NAV should be 121p, while the revised pretax profit forecasts are US$8.5m for this year, rising to US$43.1m next year and US$72.2m in 2008.
