For theyear ended 31 August revenues increased 32% to £396m, while pretaxprofit rose 37% to £17.8m. Earnings increased 33% to 11.7p. The core social housing contracting division, which providesmaintenance and estate management services to local authorities andregistered social landlords, continued to motor ahead with operatingprofit rising 33% to £18.4m on turnover that rose 35% to £350m.Connaught secured a record order intake of £770m during the year,increasing its order book from £1.7 bn. to £2.1 bn.
