In its latest update for the six months ended 30 September Experiannoted that sales increased 14% at constant exchange rates including thefirst-time contribution from its Brazilian credit bureau, Seresa.Excluding Seresa, organic growth was 6%. Experian’s largest activity, credit services, which provides lenderswith data to help them do credit reference checks, enjoyed sales growthof 4%. The suspicion among investors has been that Experian has taken abad hit in the important US market but the company claims that growthin non-mortgage activities, account management and collections hasoffset accelerating decline in mortgage originated work.
