Rok surprised investors by warning that the credit crunch hasimpacted on investor demand in its property development division, whichwill result in a £2m reduction in profit. However, the other buildingand maintenance divisions continue to trade as normal and are expectedto make up this shortfall. Analysts have therefore left their forecastsfor this year (eps: 12.8p) and next (14.8p) unchanged.Earlier Rok announced the £16.5m bolt-on acquisition of AvonsideServices Ltd, which provides plumbing, heating and electrical servicesto the construction industry.
