In an update covering the six months ended 30 September, Synergyannounced that it has performed strongly and in line with expectations,with organic growth rates benefiting from the predicted high demand forservices within its patient care and surgical businesses. Patient care has benefited from its strategy of focusing oninfection control initiatives, while both its UK and Dutch linenmanagement businesses have performed well as a result of new contractwins. In commercial services, Isotron has performed satisfactorily withpost acquisition cost savings on track, while the surgical business hasbenefited from new primary care contracts as well as a generalimprovement in the market, driven by an increase in patients treated. ...
