Thorntons - Chocolate firm improves market share

This earth shattering moment coincided with the release of Thorntons' final results in September, which showed a healthy increase in profits along with its expectation that this upward trend will continue. Such confidence could fuel an investment case for Thorntons, particularly on the basis that hard-pressed consumers will continue to buy chocolate in tough times, even while cutting back on bigger ticket items such as eating out or buying sofas.
