Escrow solutions provider NCC has acquired US-based iSEC Partners, a leading US security testing services provider for an initial £8.1m, rising to a maximum £14.4m. iSEC made an audited profit before interest and tax of US$2.4m on revenue of US$7.8m in the year to 30 June and the deal is immediately eps enhancing. Like NCC, ISEC also has an order book derived from recurring contracts worth US$3.2m. The acquisition substantially increases NCC's scale in the US and will also provide opportunities to cross-sell iSEC's security testing services to its UK customers.
