Luxury interior furnishings group Walker Greenbank has announced sparkling interims with turnover, pretax profit and eps rising 5%, 7% and 25% respectively to £41.1m, £3.3m and 5.2p. Net debt rose £0.1m to £2.3m following £1.5m capital investment.In the brands division, which supplies famous names such as Sanderson, Morris & Co, Zoffany and Harlequin, sales increased 5.3% (7.3% in local currency) to £30.8m, thanks to sustained investment in design, marketing and new product launches. In the UK, its largest market, sales jumped 10% to £18.7m, helped by rising consumer confidence while Western Europe grew by 6.9% (12.2% constant currency) to £3.6m.What’s so impressive ab ...
