A superb update sent the shares to £16 with group revenues up 22% to £254.9m for the half-year to 24 October. Retail sales increased almost 31% or 17.2% like-for-like, reflecting the recent acquisition of US distribution rights, weak comparatives and range improvements. These include increased participation in womenswear and denim, with new athletic ranges landing successfully and is expected to be rolled into menswear in future seasons. 14 new stores opened, 11 of which were outside the UK and Republic of Ireland and owned retail space increased by 21%.In wholesale turnover rose 8% thanks to range improvements, with much less clearance activity year-on-year as well as the US acquisition.
