NCC’s trading update for the four months ended September surprised investors by announcing that despite continued strong revenue growth it suffered margin pressures in the first half as well as three unrelated contract cancellations in its assurance division (only one to do with Brexit). It also experienced difficulties with some managed services renewals. As a result profits will be more second half weighted than usual.N+1 Singer has left forecasts unchanged with eps of 12.6p expected year to next May and 14.6p in FY’18.Oddly the shares have fallen as if there had been a major downgrade and now represent good value on a forward PE of 16.1.
