In defiance of wobbles elsewhere in construction and house building there’s been strength in Safestyle’s shares, bouncing from a post Brexit low of 205p to the current 250p. This reflects interims ahead of expectations with pretax profit ahead 18% to £10.6m on sales that rose 13% to £83.5m.Safestyle, the market leader in manufacturing and retailing of replacement PVCu windows and doors for homeowners, increased market share from 9.5% to 10% and with the market itself growing 2.2% by volume, that led to a 5.7% jump in the volume of frames installed to 149,742.
