The shares continue their inexorable march towards £10 after UDG announced the acquisition of MicroMass, a US-based healthcare communications agency for US$75.8m and is expected to complement UDG’s Ashfield division.That bolt-on means it’s acquired six companies in 2017 taking M&A spend to over US$275m. North Carolina-based MicroMass specialises in behavioural change strategies and provides solutions to help patients best utilise pharmaceutical treatment. Clients include GSK, Sanofi, Merck, Novartis and Gilead.With eps forecasts for the year to September ‘17 of 35.8 Eu cents (31.8p), rising to 40.7 cents (36.2p), the re-rating has pushed up the prospective PE to 29.2.
