The shares have shrugged off earlier wobbles after NMC’s capital markets day (CMD) reiterated earlier guidance for FY19 and introduced new guidance for FY20 for revenues of US$2,845m-US$2,915m and EBITDA of US$730m-US$760m, comparing favourably with consensus forecasts for US$730m.The c.1% EBITDA margin dip implied by FY’20 guidance reflects four new hospitals - two in Oman and two in the UAE, totalling 380 beds - entering ramp-up phase, so will have lower EBITDA contribution as occupancy rates build.
