In spite of the challenging macro the drive for net zero targets and ever tightening building regs keeps fuelling demand for Volution’s ventilation products and systems and its finals were marginally ahead of forecasts. Operating profit grew almost 12% to £78m (consensus: £77.4m) on sales 6% higher at £347.6m. Eps was 27.6p (consensus: 27.1p). In the UK revenue rose 3% to £161m with operating profit rising 14% to £40.2m (operating margin: +2.4% to 25% and well above estimates) with residential markets and RMI in public housing strong offset by weak commercial markets. Continental Europe grew sales 10.5% to £134m and operating profit 13% to £32.1m (margins: +1.1% to 23.9%) driven by a strong performance in Central Europe. ...
