TheNew Year has started with a bang with all the indices breaking into new highs.  The FTSE-100 rose 3.6% to 4,488, after moving above 4,500 at one point, while the performances of the Techmark 100 and FTSE Small Cap were even more impressive, with gains of 9.6% to 1,109 and 5.5% to 2,581 respectively.  The feel-good factor certainly came out among the 30 FT sectors we cover, with 26 winners and only 4 losers recorded, a statistic reinforced by comments in the national press that "investors, who haven't bought a stoc ...
