Shares in International Greetings, the designer and manufacturer of private label greetings products, such as gift wrap, crackers and stationery, have gained a useful 59% in the two years since our main recommendation in January 2003 at 221.5p. The group's recent interim results for the six months ended 30 September, fully underpin this progress with pretax profit before goodwill increasing 17% to £6.3m, onturnover up 16% at nearly £62m. Excluding the maiden contribution from the recently acquired Hoomark, turnover and profit still grew 7% and 12% respectively.  Earnings grew 17% to 10.5p.
